Welcome to Running in the Red.
It's 1934. Eve Williams and Jerry Walker are about to hit it big in their comedy radio show but Eve is sick and tired of playing the dumb blond. She would rather just go back to college to finish up her degree. But everything falls apart when she comes home and finds she is broke. To make it worse things keep piling up. Her fiance is coming over, columnist snooping around, a publisher coming to sign E.J. Williams, a sponsor coming to talk to Eve and Jerry, and the communists coming over to thank her for giving all her money to them. Will Eve even survive all this?
